HOW TO BECOME A SCRATCH GOLFER? FIRST YOU NEED OPTIONS.

OVER THE TOP GOLF - YOU HAVE OPTIONS

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida - One question we don't hear much, and frankly, I'm surprised that a golf instructor somewhere hasn't guaranteed results in his or her advertisements is "How do I become a scratch golfer?" Perhaps there are golf pros who privately assure their students that this fantasy could become a reality. But to trumpet such a bold and incredible notion in black and white for all to see practically guarantees ridicule and derision from the golfing community. Literally everyone, from PGA players to 36 Handicappers, knows that a statement like this is nothing more than a come on. If someone told me that they could turn me into a scratch golfer my reply would be exactly that, "Aw, Come on."

The question does persist, however, so why not look into solving the problem of lowering your score to match par on the course you are playing? That means lots of 3s and 4s on the scorecard. OK, first of all, you'll need options. The explanation is simple. When your tee shot comes to rest in the fairway within range of the green, a player has the option to either go for the pin or play a safer shot. Even if the intended target is somewhere off the green - away from potential danger - you are now close in two and have a great chance at par. Conversely, if your tee shot lands either in deep rough or short of from where you can safely reach the green, you are screwed, or to use a golfing term, you are out of position. You are also out of options. Making par from where you are is now only a possibility. Recording a much higher score is more likely.

OVER THE TOP GOLF - THE ONLY GOLF SWING WITH A WALK-THROUGH FINISH

My OVER THE TOP GOLF swing provides me with options whereas before I was at the mercy of the golf course. The tee shot, with regard to having options, is the most important part of becoming a scratch golfer. Even if you are precision with a putter and have Mickelsonian chipping abilities, those extra shots you wasted getting into attack mode basically torpedoed your chances of shooting a 72.

Those who order my eBook first learn how simple it is to hit dead-straight wedge shots. As they move up the line to the longer clubs, that accuracy translates through the irons and fairway woods. Then last, but not least in importance, the piece d'resistance, standing on the tee box and ripping a long, low bullet with the Big Dog. As you may already know, OVER THE TOP GOLF is the only golf swing with the walk-through finish. Keep walking right to where your golf ball is waiting - center cut, in position and ready to do some serious damage. Now you've got options.
