|YOU CAN'T CORRECT YOUR OVER THE TOP GOLF SWING|
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Today's blog goes back to the principal reason I created the Over The Top Golf swing. Along with the vast majority of amateur golfers, I feel more comfortable taking the club away on an inside path and rerouting it on the downswing to an outside-in swing path. Too bad this geometrical configuration produced such nasty slices. A faulty grip never helps either.
How many web sites will you find that advertise they can fix, correct or eliminate your over the top swing?
The answer is eighty-eight (and counting.)
How many web sites will you find that advertise they can show you how to swing over the top correctly?
The answer is one (me.)
Yes, that's right, using just five set-up changes, a lifetime slicer starts hitting the ball dead-straight. And what's more, he'll enjoy added distance from all clubs and a new found confidence in his overall game. This is common sense golf instruction. It must be difficult to fathom how I was able to discover this unique combination. First of all, it was neccessary for me to become terminally frustrated with my inability to learn a "proper" golf swing through golf lessons. You know the one, it features a low, slow takeaway on a straight line back, a wrist-cock, a full shoulder turn, a rerouting of the club until it is parallel to the ground, then after pausing at the top, beginning the downswing with the lower body while the club is again rerouted to an inside-out path, the keeping of the head down during impact, the rolling of the wrists and then the perfectly balanced finish on to the outer edge of the left foot. God bless you if you are one of the approximately 10% of golfers who are able to do this. But the fact that I was not among that lucky 10% turned out to be a blessing too. A blessing in disguise.
I created the Over The Top Golf swing for myself so I could drive the ball straight and as far as my buddies, so I could hit greens in regulation and so I would gain the confidence I needed to win matches. Now you can have it, too.
Take it from me, it's great!
