THE 4TH ANNUAL TELLING OF THE STORY OF SANTA'S NEW GOLF SWING. AN OVER THE TOP CHRISTMAS STORY

THE STORY OF SANTA'S NEW GOLF SWING

NORTH POLE - The golf season at the North Pole is short so people like Santa, his elves and others from here are , naturally, very poor golfers. No matter how much they want to, becoming proficient at the game presents the same obstacles year after year. Everyone's got that over the top, outside-in swing path. How can one learn a proper golf swing in the course of a month–and-a-half golf season? And businesses that cater to golfers are rarer than scores in the 80s in these parts. Around Christmas time, consumers here don’t have a great need to update their lessons, equipment, golf instruction videos and eBooks other than to stock up on those orange Top Flites. Poor Santa Claus had reached his wits end.

Most people have conflicts involving business and family. That wasn’t the case with Santa. There’s Mrs. Claus, of course, but her interests by now are mostly trying to manage Santa’s cholesterol. And his work year basically consists of one day.... Well, one madcap evening to be precise. You don’t really think it was him who answered your letter in 1962 do you? No, Santa really should be a scratch player but for the ice and snow.

Most golf instructors are reluctant to travel 3,000 miles for a 45 day golf season so lessons here are practically non-existent. Santa, however, manages to fit a twilight lesson in on Christmas Day at Doral before the reindeer whisk him back to the chilly north. Therein lies St. Nick’s problem. Many of the elves residing at the North Pole are self-taught golfers but they routinely kick Santa’s ass. Every year his trip back home from sunny Miami is filled with optimism at how he would soon squash each and every one of those elves and take their money at the 19th hole. Talk about visions of sugar plums dancing in your head….

But alas, each year saw the same result. Mrs. Claus admonishing Santa for losing his hard-earned cookies and milk to those pesky and opportunistic elves. “The lessons are too difficult” he would cry out. “They are asking a 350 lb. man to swing inside-out, impact the ball with a square clubface and finish in perfect balance on my left side.”

Well guess what? Santa discovered the secret to the elves’ domination. The mystery of how a bunch of dwarfs were able to consistently get into the big guy’s pocket was known as The OVER THE TOP GOLF swing . Santa, along with about a half-million hackers throughout the world, had wandered right past the solution to all of their golf-swing problems. The ability to walk confidently up to the tee and smack a long drive straight down the fairway was now in the bag and man, would he make those elves pay!!

It was actually Mrs. Claus who learned about OVER THE TOP GOLF eBook from a child’s letter. The youngster had learned the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing and began shooting under par. The child wrote to ask Santa for a new set of Mizunos so he could pursue his dream of playing on the PGA Tour. In this golf instruction method, Santa discovered that by employing just five set-up changes, he could use his own golf swing to achieve great results on the links - even with his outside-in swing path. And of course, by now, his handicap was up to a hefty 30 strokes.

The elves never had a chance.

DO YOU SWING EASY OR TRY TO KILL THE BALL? BALANCE IS THE KEY TO BOTH TECHNIQUES. THE OVER THE TOP GOLF PERSPECTIVE - IT'S AS EASY AS WALKING.

OH NO, HE WHIFFED!!

NAPLES, Florida - Without a doubt, one of the most ridiculous and entertaining spectacles in golf is when the "swing hard" guy misses the ball altogether. I can't remember ever seeing it happen in TV golf but out here on the course or at the driving range it happens often enough that most of us have had the pleasure of witnessing it. Before I created the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing method, I, myself did it. Twice, in fact, the dreaded whiff, and it really is embarrassing. When golf pros get hold of someone like this, their first order of business is  to teach him to swing easy in order to give him some semblance of balance.

I agree that balance is a necessity. But the method golf instructors employ to obtain it also destroys the best part of that guy's swing, the innate ability to whack the snot out of the ball. So what's the answer?

The picture above shows pure balance during the final segment of a golf swing - the follow through. The beauty is that the guy didn't need that impossible-to-attain slow, in-synch swing the pros have to get to a balanced finish position. As I like to say, "the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing is as easy as walking." A succinct description of my golf swing method is "five set-up changes that will optimize your current golf swing into one of power and accuracy." Whether you swing easy or try to kill the ball, this technique might be the key that unlocks the door to balance - which is something you need.

INSTANT GRATIFICATION - IN THE WORLD OF GOLF INSTRUCTION, THERE'S NOTHING BETTER!!

A GREAT IDEA - OVER THE TOP GOLF!

ACUSHNET, Massachusetts - The joy that a person feels when succeeding at a difficult and important task is virtually an unsurpassed pleasure. In the case of learning an effective golf swing, it's exceptional, of course, but in the case of teaching that same effective golf swing, the taste is almost as sweet. During these last few years, golf students had to buy my OVER THE TOP GOLF instructional DVD in order to learn the method. That entailed waiting for the package to arrive, thereby dampening some of their enthusiasm. By comparison, my new OVER THE TOP GOLF instructional eBook appears in seconds. The difference for the student is like night and day. After reading an article in my blog, if you are intrigued, you can purchase my eBook and immediately begin the learning process. You are in your living room, eight-iron in hand, trying out this new and different golf swing, acknowledging it's simplicity, coming to the realization that you can do it and that it is going to work wonders for your game....well, there aren't many better forms of instant gratification than that.

What it's meant for me is now I am getting your feedback. I always found it interesting that of the hundreds of golfers who purchased my DVD, nobody ever complained - well there were two people actually - or requested refunds, called me an idiot, etc. that one should probably expect in this business, right? But it was also curious to note the lack of any other types of responses like praise or perhaps, advice on how I could improve my method even more. Nothing, nada, zip....

I don't pay attention to other golf instructors although I am aware that there are many instructional DVDs out there that help you learn different golf swing methods. Do Butch Harmon, Tom Watson or Stack & Tilt also offer eBooks? Are they full of effective, easy to follow drawings and narrated like the OVER THE TOP GOLF eBook or are they just collections of videos like my DVD was? Is the golf student likely to immediately "get it?" And most importantly, will he or she be able to "keep it?" Instant gratification for me is hearing about how my students are getting it. I am confident that most of them will be keeping it too.

THE GOLF SWING - ARE YOU NEUTRAL, RIGHT OR LEFT HAND DOMINANT? SOME PRE-INSTRUCTION INSTRUCTION

ARE YOU A NEUTRAL, RIGHT OR LEFT HAND DOMINANT GOLFER?

PANAMA CITY, Florida -  It's always been my good fortune to sense when a situation doesn't feel quite right. Not only has this intuition protected me from countless foolish investments over the years, it enabled me to realize early on that I'd never be able to swing a golf club like Tom Watson. I went on to create the great OVER THE TOP GOLF swing - a sensible instruction method by which amateur golfers can use natural body motions to optimize their golf swings. But before learning my lesson, available now as an easy to follow eBook, it's important to identify whether you are a neutral, right hand (or right side) dominant or left hand (or left side) dominant golfer. Yes, you can be all three but most people rely on only one dynamic to strike at the golf ball.

A neutral approach in the golf swing essentially involves both right and left hands and arms working in tandem. I liken this dynamic to swinging a baseball bat. A right side dominant approach resembles hammering a nail. A left hand dominant approach can be likened to tossing a frisbee or a backhanded swing in tennis or ping pong.

How does a golfer take advantage of his or her innate tendencies to employ one dynamic over the others? It's especially difficult to recognize what comes natural after a golfer is taught to swing the club a certain way. But if that feeling can be acquired, the advantages are enormous, especially in terms of consistency. Once dialed in to the appropriate golf swing dynamic, it's then a matter of adjusting stance, swing speed, distance from the ball, aiming points, etc. to fine tune it to where it repeats and repeats.

Golf swing dynamics is where I begin in my OVER THE TOP GOLF instructional eBook. Like the title of this article says, it's pre-instruction instruction. Whether you sport a conventional golf swing from lessons or are in the process of trying to learn something new, recognizing and optimizing your core strengths is a major building block. Often the foundations we inherit from golf pros are weak and ill-suited toward our natural tendencies. OVER THE TOP GOLF is a golf swing method that enables golfers to build workable swings on troubled ground and I'm sure there are others. Neutral, right hand and left hand dominant golfers would be well served to focus on the one dynamic that feels right before experimenting with others.

LEARN A HOT NEW GOLF SWING FROM OVER THE TOP GOLF

LEARN A HOT NEW GOLF SWING FROM OVER THE TOP GOLF

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - As a golf writer, it's hard not to draw material from blog comments and other emails I receive from readers. So when my friend Chuck wrote to tell me that his new golf swing was "Hot Stuff" it didn't take much imagination to draw a comparison to the lovable little cartoon devil. It's hard to learn a new golf swing so my bayou buddy just wanted to let me know how easy switching to my great OVER THE TOP GOLF swing was.

My description of the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing is  more "golf swing optimization" than "golf lesson." A golfing student, whether experienced or not, possesses some innate talent. Most golf instructors purposely ignore it, considering it an impediment to the stamp they want to imprint on them. For most amateurs it is the beginning of what will be a long and dreary existence in the rough and in the woods. What seems comfortable to the student will inevitably be at odds with what the pro will ask them to do. The body's natural movements  will be replaced by anomalous physical requirements that sometimes seem to defy logic.

Since most golfers simply can't wire up to teaching pros agendas, they seek golf swing alternatives that can enable them to enjoy the game of golf with some degree of proficiency. The OVER THE TOP GOLF swing, with it's somewhat radical look, builds on the student's own foundation, faulty grip and all. The finished product is a thing of beauty - a marriage of mathematics and instinct. Compared to how you have been swinging the club, you'll agree that this is definitely "Hot Stuff."

THE OVER THE TOP GOLF SWING INSTRUCTIONAL EBOOK IS HERE!! YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT NOW.

The OVER THE TOP GOLF instructional eBook is here!!

FORT PIERCE, Florida - For the last few years, golfers from all over the world have had to buy my DVD in order to learn the great OVER THE TOP GOLF swing method. Even though I'm proud to say that I have sold hundreds of them, I can't help but feel that the prospect of having to wait for the item in the mail probably turned many potential customers away. Today all of that changes because you can now begin your journey to golfing happiness in the next five minutes. The OVER THE TOP GOLF instructional eBook is here!!

It didn't take long for my first student to show up. Steve was kind enough to send the following email:

Hi Frankie--

I just watched the e-book. It is a clear presentation of the swing and a nice complement to the DVD.
I picked up a few pointers that weren't clear in the DVD--it appears one has much freedom choosing grip, lead arm vs. trail arm, power, etc.
For short game pitches/swings do you use an OTT swing at a certain distance (say beyond 40 yds?)
I would be interested in your approach to your sand game and chipping.
Thanks for the new product--I'll let you know how the journey continues.
Take care--

Steve

I created the OVER THE TOP GOLF eBook because it presents my golf swing method more clearly than the video does. Through simple drawings with narratives, the student can easily understand the mechanics of this simple golf swing. Many people have called it unconventional but everyone seems to agree that it works. I hope that you will take this effective yet inexpensive step toward improving your golf swing. And just like Steve, please feel welcome to let me know how YOUR journey goes.

WHY IS THIS MAN SMILING? CHARLES BARKLEY AND GOLF - THE LEGEND CONTINUES....

CHARLES BARKLEY
WHY IS THIS MAN SMILING?

LAKE TAHOE, Nevada - Why is this man smiling? Well, being rich and famous might have something to do with it. Or, perhaps, he's delusional.

Most everyone recognizes former world-class athlete and current television personality Charles Barkley. They say he's a very nice person. But he's also passionate about golf  which is a sport that he unfortunately sucks at. His golf swing has been widely ridiculed for years yet Charles just keeps on grinning. Last week at the annual American Century celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe, Sir Charles finished dead last in 80th place. In 2011's tournament he finished 81st in a field of 83. 2010 wasn't much brighter as Barkley once again finished in last place. I say "once again" because, as a matter of fact, Charles has managed to check in either last or very near the bottom in every American Century celebrity golf tournament since 1997. It's obvious that Tahoe is a place where he wants to play respectably so again I have to ask, why is this man smiling?

A few years ago there was a television series that starred Sir Charles and golf instructor Hank Haney who would teach the big fella the right way to swing a golf club. Although at the time, the show must have seemed like a good idea to Hank, the experiment was a dismal failure as evidenced by Charles' continued mediocrity. In fact, another of Haney's pupils who starred in a follow-up show, actor Ray Romano, also managed to stink up the course at the American Century tournament finishing in 64th place. The upside to these debacles is the harsh light that was cast on time-honored teaching principles that revealed how inadequate they are for the majority of amateur golfers.

OVER THE TOP GOLF is a method created for people like Charles Barkley. I have written about him before hoping to catch his eye. But should any golf instructor chance becoming publicly involved with him at this point? It was obvious from the television show that Charles really worked hard, that he "wanted it." If a famous teacher like Hank Haney couldn't fix Barkley's dreadful swing, what  chance would I have?

Well folks, I'm here to tell you it would be a piece of cake - a layup if you will pardon the basketball analogy. Next year at Tahoe, Charles could leapfrog fellow former NBA great Michael Jordan and a whole bunch of other jocks into the top 20 by learning my simple method for hitting them long and straight.

At this point in the article, especially if you've seen Mr. Barkley's golf swing, you might be thinking it's me who is delusional. Fair enough but if all goes according to plan and Charles becomes a student of OVER THE TOP GOLF, at long last there will be a reasonable answer to the question "why is this man smiling?"

YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE BRITISH GOLFERS - A GOLF LESSON FOR ALL OF US

YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE BRITISH GOLFERS
A GOLF LESSON FOR ALL OF US

TURNBERRY, South Ayrshire KA26, UK - What a difference in attitudes we have from the British. When you think of some of golf's most vibrant personalities, the English, Irish, Scots and Welsh are well represented. And it's not just the Woosies and the Westwoods. The ladies - Laura Davies comes right to mind - also bring that keenness and self-deprecating carriage to the golf course and beyond. Well, move over Darren Clarke, Luke Donald and Ian Poulter and make some room for newest OVER THE TOP GOLF player Brian Boyson.

Last week, one of my golf instructional DVDs went over to Great Britain. Not an unusual happenstance but this particular copy landed in the post office box of one Brian Boyson who, after viewing it, took the golf lesson to the driving range and turned into someone else altogether. Formerly struggling with his golf game, Brian found himself possessed with a strength and confidence he hadn't known in a long while. Now his golf stock is rising because of the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing and the enthusiasm it took to incorporate it into his own. The five set-up changes empowered Brian, let him feel the torque that could be generated by using his body. And Brian was sure to let me know all about it. Not once but in three separate correspondences!

Hi,
I have just tried your over the top swing on the practice area, WOW!! how good was that!! been so frustrated this past couple of years so can not wait to take it onto the course tomorrow//will report on progress , many thanks,
yours brian

Hi Frankie,
played yesterday with mixed results as my old swing did creep in on occasions , however i stayed with it and am well pleased.
looking forward to next round which i expect to improve as i get more confident.
yours brian.

Hi Frankie,
practising your otg swing again today!!   must say i am very impressed, even used it on short game 35 to 50 yards worked a treat, so much more to learn about this the mind boggles///i really hope i can take this onto the golf course as soon as the weather permits as we are having an awful summer this year in uk .  i have adapted your principles to suit my swing and have every expectation of lowering my scores very soon to where it used to be.
yours brian.

Brian Boyson has elevated his his golf game and his expectations, He now returns to a better version of the golfer he once was, able to hit longer, straighter tee shots and zero in on pins with laser-like accuracy. His enthusiasm is infectious. Yes, I created the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing and, as I hope you will also come to know, once you've learned it, you don't need to practice any more. But all of a sudden I also feel like going out to the driving range. Thanks, Brian. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Tally ho!

MAKING NEW FRIENDS AT THE DRIVING RANGE

MAKING NEW FRIENDS AT THE DRIVING RANGE

Dear Frankie,

Did you know that OVER THE TOP GOLF is a social networking tool as well as a great golf swing method? It's true. Let me elaborate.

The typical interaction between golfers at a driving range, unless it's the person in the next teeing station, is "hey, how ya doing?" After that, people used to notice me as much as I did them - only occasionally if at all. The only reason, it seems, that anyone out there ever pays particular attention is when there's a hot chick getting in some practice or a some gorilla bombing them past the end of the range.

Since I started using your OVER THE TOP GOLF swing, things have changed. Curious onlookers now frequently approach me to ask about my golf swing. Both men and women alike are drawn to observe what I'm doing.

The first thing that people notice is my finish position which is, as you know, walking through the shot. But, in general, an unusual finish position isn't enough to warrant more than a passing glance. But then after they see me hitting straight ball after straight ball, almost like a machine (which is actually how I feel when I'm beating balls,) they start to come a little closer and the questions begin.

Which brings me to another point. How about establishing some sort of bonus system so I can make a few bucks every time I help sell one of your golf lessons? I'm sure that many of your customers have come from my high recommendations. And what they just saw at the driving range, of course.

Your student and friend,

Lefty Baker

WILL THE OVER THE TOP GOLF IPO ECLIPSE TODAY'S $18B FACEBOOK IPO?

OVER THE TOP GOLF IPO

NEW YORK, New York - It took place in the future, about five years from now. OVER THE TOP GOLF became a highly acclaimed golf swing method that is used by almost every amateur golfer as well as a few pros. The newspaper headlines announced that part of the company was just sold for twenty billion dollars. The figure represents the highest IPO since Facebook went public in 2012. Prior to the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing, almost all golf instruction was anchored by the same difficult-to-master principles. Generations of golfers were taught the same way and, as a result, only a very few golfers excelled. OVER THE TOP GOLF enabled virtually all golfers to hit a golf ball long and straight.

Bud from South Carolina bought my DVD the other day. People sometimes write with questions while considering OVER THE TOP GOLF but Bud waited until afterward to send the following email.

Hi! I just ordered your DVD based on your blog comments. Why arent there any specifics on your program posted on the web? Why are there no testimonials posted other than the abbreviated ones on the blog? Why is everything so hush hush if youre trying to grow the popularity of your company? Please get back to me! - Bud

Hi Bud, Your DVD was mailed today. There are no specifics because the swing is so simple (just five set-up changes), pretty much anything I divulge gives it away. As far as testimonials, I'm not sure what that means. When someone has something to say they usually leave a comment in the remarks section of the blog. Good luck with your new swing. - Frankie C

Thanks for the quick reply Frankie. I was going to try the Stack and Tilt swing when I heard about yours. I'm 71 and played to an 8 handicap 25 yrs ago but it's hard to come back with arthritis and flex problems. I sure hope your deal works so I can "spread the word" for you. Also I really like your web site and blog. Kind regards! - Bud

Did Bud get back down to a single-digit handicap using the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing? Did he spread the word? Is there a Facebook-like mega IPO in my future? Stay tuned.

NO GIMMEES ON 18 - THE MATCH ISN'T OVER 'TILL THE LAST PUTT DROPS

NO GIMMEES ON 18 - THE MATCH ISN'T OVER 'TILL THE LAST PUTT DROPS
PALM SPRINGS, California - I can barely remember the names of some of my ex-golf buddies who have walked off the 18th green with their panties in a bunch over the years. I recall one red-faced dude unstrapping his bag and making a bee-line for the parking lot after suffering the indignity of having to line up a two-foot gimmee for the half. "Are you seriously going to make me putt that?"

Yesterday's occurrence at the LPGA's Kraft Nabisco Open should be an eye-opener for those of us who concede relatively easy putts at crucial times in a match. I hope that it's also a wake-up call for golfers who confuse gamesmanship with poor golf etiquette.

On Sunday, with a major win seemingly in the bag, golfer I.K. Kim had only to tap a dinky one-foot par putt into the hole and golfing immortality would be hers. Yet, somehow, she muffed it. Kim could have wrapped up her first major championship but, instead, ended up losing in a playoff to Sun Young Yoo. The fact of the matter is, when the pressure is on, golfers often miss un-missable putts. Throughout sports it is known as choking and in golf, it most often happens sometime during the playing of the 18th hole.

If a professional golfer, whether it be woman or man (remember Phil Mickelson's drive into the garbage can on the final hole of the 2006 US Open) can go to pieces when the pressure's on, amateur golfers are certainly not immune to it.  As for the red-faced dude, before making his abrupt, albeit entertaining exit, he tossed a crumpled up twenty in my general direction. You guessed it. He missed the putt.

BECOME A BETTER GOLFER - TRANSFORM YOUR SWING AT OVER THE TOP GOLF

BECOME A BETTER GOLFER - TRANSFORM YOUR SWING AT OVER THE TOP GOLF
DORAL, Florida - "The art of golf instruction is the ability of the student and golf pro understanding the details and applying their knowledge to the golfer based on those details and how they relate to his or her needs and conditions. I have quickly decided that Over The Top Golf is for me simply because nothing else has worked for my golf swing. I will go over my decision process with my golf pro at our next golf lesson and I am 99.9% certain that he will agree with my decision." This student's comment indicates his desire to become a better golfer. Can you transform your swing into something powerful?

How often do golfers think about game improvement? The ratio of golf lesson-takers to status quo players is quite small - probably one out of a hundred have more than a casual interest in becoming better golfers.

Another comment addresses how stagnant golf instruction has become.

"Great Idea, OVER THE TOP GOLF! Frankly, I believe it was about time somebody began doing something about the insane golf lessons we so often witness nowadays.

To all those golf pros using labels such as “pronation,” I got news for you: This (Over The Top Golf ) is a better golf swing. You have the right to try teaching what people simply cannot do but its nonsense. Personally, I’m sick and tired of all the technical mumbo-jumbo about the golf swing we’ve become accustomed to, especially recently.

You don’t like new approaches? Guess what? Neither did I until I went half crazy trying to learn from golf pros! But how and why do you presume the Over The Top Golf swing isn’t a valid teaching method? This has gotten almost as crazy (if not worse) as the “Natural Golf doesn’t work” syndrome of yesteryear.

I’d be happy to work for OVER THE TOP GOLF as an instructor. Seriously. I believe we can help turn the amateur golfing experience into a fruitful and enjoyable activity, to the benefit of golfers of all abilities."

These descriptive examples of golf students speaking up provides evidence that current golf instruction methods may need an infusion of new blood. Golf pros have long demonized over the top golf swings in their lessons. The OVER THE TOP GOLF swing shows how the outside-in swing path can actually provide as sound a foundation as inside-out. Anyone can become a better golfer if he or she stays away from attempting the impossible - or even the implausible. The average amateur golfer can watch a Tom Watson golf instruction DVD, for example, over and over yet never even remotely duplicate what Tom does. Yes, you can transform your golf swing if you use some common sense. You'll never be Watson, or The Hulk, for that matter. But you can become a better golfer by finding a common sense approach. Enough said.

THE 2012 HONDA CLASSIC - LIKE TO BET ON GOLF?

LIKE TO BET ON GOLF?

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida - Astonished doesn't begin to describe my reaction to learning that Tiger Woods, playing for the first time near his new home in Palm Beach County, isn't favored to win this week's Honda Classic at PGA National Golf Club. Like to bet on golf? My instincts tell me that Woods has been practicing extra-long hours since being bounced from match play and wants to win this golf tournament almost as much as any major. I'm betting on that.

Should this automatically make Tiger Woods the favorite? Currently, Ladbroke's lists Rory McIlroy as the chalk at 8-1 and it's hard to argue that the youngster doesn't deserve the esteem. Woods, meanwhile, is the second choice at 12-1 while third choice is Lee Westwood, right behind Tiger at 14-1. Although I can't imagine the odds growing longer on Tiger Woods come Thursday morning, it's conceivable that he could swap the 2-3 spots with Westwood. I should mention that no golfer in the rest of the field is listed at less than 33-1.

Lest we forget everyone else, there are a number of pro golfers who have come to South Florida feeling pretty good about their games. Keegan Bradley, just to name one such individual, has been playing lights out of late.

Are there any bettable long shots in this golf field? How about Y.E. Yang who brings his majors-type game to PGA National? Yang's odds are currently 50-1. Another golfer who has shown flashes of brilliance recently is Jarrod Lyle at 80-1, possibly on the verge of a breakout year. My sentimental pick might surprise some but local product Briny Baird, who has played this golf course more than anyone else, is being given my strong consideration, especially at 100-1. With the Dow surging, I can't, in good conscience, recommend that you bet on golf as a sound investment. But it might be time to dig those few shillings out of the couch. Tiger Woods at a price in his home town? Probably never see it again in our lifetime.

BILL HAAS AND RIVIERA COUNTRY CLUB - BOTH TOUGH TO BEAT

BILL HAAS AND RIVIERA COUNTRY CLUB

LOS ANGELES, California - For those of us who almost never watch golf tournaments on TV, this weekend's contest at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles gave us a reason to do so more often. Lots of reasons, actually.

You couldn't help but be impressed by Bill Haas' determination. Haas was a smiling assassin as he both out-smiled and out-played Lefty Mickelson to earn a hard-earned victory. Keegan Bradley, a poster boy for nervous energy, kept fighting, spitting and fidgeting until the very end. Many hoped that Phil would win his second tournament in a row but, once again, he was derailed by a questionable decision on the tee box of the last hole on the last day.

We also got to see the other side of the coin watching Dustin Johnson's short game or lack therof. Television viewers were as embarrassed for him as Riviera's spectators obviously appeared after he amateurishly bladed a sand wedge across the green. Sometimes it's hard to imagine these golfing machines as human beings with all of the attendant frailties and weaknesses.

You'd have to call the Northern Trust Open's international field pretty strong with the likes of Luke Donald, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, KJ Choi, Aaron Baddeley and Sergio Garcia teeing it up at Riviera. It was nice to see golfers from the United States sweeping the first three spots.

As for Riviera, no article about this tournament would be complete without an honorable mention for the outstanding golf course known famously as"Hogan's Alley" after legendary golfer Ben Hogan. Riviera Country Club provided the canvas on which Haas would craft his masterpiece. It was an inspired performance which could only have taken place on such an inspirational golf course.

THE OVER THE TOP GOLF SWING AND GOLF-RELATED INJURIES – GOLF INSTRUCTION YOUR CHIROPRACTOR WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT BUT WON’T

THE OVER THE TOP GOLF SWING AND GOLF-RELATED INJURIES – GOLF INSTRUCTION YOUR CHIROPRACTOR WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT BUT WON’T

NEW YORK CITY, New York - It’s about time someone spoke up for chiropractors and how beneficial their treatments are for golfers. Many of us, and not just the elder folks, get back injuries and have leg, back and joint pain as a result of the torqueing our bodies withstand during the conventional golf swing learned from teaching pros. It is, in many ways, negative-effect golf instruction. Disruptions in the flow of nerve impulses can lead to all sorts of injuries and physical impairments, many of them debilitating.

One morning before a recent golf outing I found a group of chiropractors at the practice range hitting golf balls. It wasn’t long before one of them inquired about my OVER THE TOP GOLF swing. He became curious about both the cleanliness of my well-struck iron shots and the fact that the method itself seemed to relieve the stress and load that exists in practically all golf swings. “It’s the walk-through finish that prevents much of it,” I explained. Not only did the good doctor readily take to it, his fellow chiropractors walked over to examine this very different looking golf swing.

Of course, despite its great potential for both game improvement and injury reduction, none of the chiropractors would to go so far as to let me quote them, much less endorse the product. Liability issues, they said.

But “if I could, many remarked, I would.”

Let me take this opportunity to cordially invite chiropractors from around the world to inquire about the OVER THE TOP GOLF SWING and the benefits it provides for golfers. Accuracy and extra yardage coupled with reduced stress on the body makes it a natural fit. Our e-Book will soon be available and well within everyone’s budget. Using this unique golf swing method will, naturally, cut down on those golf injuries, back and joint pain that help pay a chiropractor's rent, though. However, there really isn't a choice whether or not to endorse the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing. There’s a higher force at work known as the Hippocratic oath. “I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.” Prevention is, of course, preferable to cure.
