DENVER, Colorado - There are many paths one can take to remedy golf swing problems such as slicing, lack of distance, shanks, etc. Which road to take is an important decision. Every golfer has considered whether or not to take another lesson. When golf instruction is mis-applied, usually by golf pros who expect each student to have just a little Tiger in him, months - even years - can be lost to confusion and frustration. First off, I must mention that the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing is the only method I know that doesn't force you to change the basic foundations of your golf swing. After watching my instructional eBook, if you aren't satisfied, you may go right back to your old swing. Not an easy thing to do after taking lessons. I'm pretty confident, however, that seeing a running draw come off the face of your driver will dispel any notion of going back. And as I've mentioned many times in my articles, once you learn this simplest of swings, you'll never need any more golf instruction. For me, even though I don't do it often, practice is fun. It's great when the golf ball does what you want it to do.

By comparison, you can't do that after golf lessons. After you've stepped through the portal of professional golf instruction - for better or worse - what once was will never be again. Be realistic. If you plan to keep up with periodic lessons and take the time to practice, a golf pro may be exactly what you need. But if you are like me, with no penchant for beating balls and very little time to spare, starting down the golf lessons road should involve some very careful thought.

Here is a very nice email I received from an OVER THE TOP GOLF student. I think the letter illustrates a typical reaction from someone trying this method for the first time.
Hi Frankie,
I finally got to play a 9 hole round using your swing method. I didn’t get a chance to get to the practice range prior to work on it. I did ok and hit some solid shots especially my last drive. However I hit most of my shots to the right. Not a slice, but a solid hit that went straight but to the right. What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?
Looking forward to my next round.
Thanks,
Richard
You've got to love it when a student says he or she is "looking forward to their next round."
look forward to every day
