DO YOU SWING EASY OR TRY TO KILL THE BALL? BALANCE IS THE KEY TO BOTH TECHNIQUES. THE OVER THE TOP GOLF PERSPECTIVE - IT'S AS EASY AS WALKING.

OH NO, HE WHIFFED!!

NAPLES, Florida - Without a doubt, one of the most ridiculous and entertaining spectacles in golf is when the "swing hard" guy misses the ball altogether. I can't remember ever seeing it happen in TV golf but out here on the course or at the driving range it happens often enough that most of us have had the pleasure of witnessing it. Before I created the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing method, I, myself did it. Twice, in fact, the dreaded whiff, and it really is embarrassing. When golf pros get hold of someone like this, their first order of business is  to teach him to swing easy in order to give him some semblance of balance.

I agree that balance is a necessity. But the method golf instructors employ to obtain it also destroys the best part of that guy's swing, the innate ability to whack the snot out of the ball. So what's the answer?

The picture above shows pure balance during the final segment of a golf swing - the follow through. The beauty is that the guy didn't need that impossible-to-attain slow, in-synch swing the pros have to get to a balanced finish position. As I like to say, "the OVER THE TOP GOLF swing is as easy as walking." A succinct description of my golf swing method is "five set-up changes that will optimize your current golf swing into one of power and accuracy." Whether you swing easy or try to kill the ball, this technique might be the key that unlocks the door to balance - which is something you need.
